RBS Principal’s
Notes
March 22, 2019
Happy Spring! The students have really been excited about
the warmer weather! Hopefully, once we
get past this weekend’s mini storm, we’ll be in the clear, and crocuses,
daffodils and tulips will be popping up before we know it!
Snow Day Count = 1
Tentative Last Day
of School = Monday, June 10th
IN THE NEWS:
Scholastic
Book Fair at RBS
Scholastic
Dino-Mite Book Fair is coming! It’s
the Scholastic DINO-MITE Book Fair: Stomp, Chomp, and Read! Super-size
fun awaits as Riddle Brook School is turned into reading raptors, bookceratops,
and readasaurus rex bookivores ready to unleash their inner dino and enjoy a
stomping, chomping, reading good time! Children
will visit the Book Fair to create their own wish lists during the school day. Families are invited to come back to shop from Monday,
April 8 through Thursday, April 11 between 2:00-7:00
PM in rooms 216-218.
Parent Pick
Up Request
I know it’s
tempting to let your child run over to you as soon as he/she enters the gym,
however, it’s very important that students wait to be called by the duty person
checking them out. For safety and
accountability purposes, we need to be sure that students are leaving with the
appropriate person (noted on the check-out slip). If your child runs over to greet you before
being checked out, please send him/her back.
We appreciate your help with this.

injustices they have endured. Rehearsals

until Friday, March 29th. We
will have a box for donations in the office hallway outside of the
