As a reminder, if you (or someone you know) have incoming kindergarten or grade 1 students for the 2018/19 school year, please come into the school to register them ASAP.
BEF Chipotle Fundraiser
The Bedford Education Foundation is holding a Chipotle Fundraiser on Tuesday, May 29th from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Bedford Chipotle. For more information please take a look at THIS FLYER.

Tick Control Treatment
Todd Zollman (Director of Maintenance) has informed the elementary schools that tick control treatment was done last week (outside of school hours) for our playgrounds.
Summer Skills Math Books
Summer is almost here! If you would like to order a Summer Skills Math Sharpener workbook for your child, please click HERE, then click on the “Parent Info.” tab. You will be able to order the book online and it will be shipped right to your house.
The purpose of these workbooks is to review the math skills taught during the school year. It is suggested that you order a workbook that is at the same grade level that your child is in now.
Our event is scheduled for SUNDAY, JUNE 3RD, 9:30AM at the BHS campus – Over 680 runners registered, don’t miss your chance to get in on the colorful fun. Have you signed your kids up to run and are planning to be there to cheer them on? We could use your help as a volunteer! Click here for volunteer opportunities. COFFEE WITH SUPERINTENDENT CHIP MCGEE- Join the Bedford PTG for a “Year in Review” with Superintendent McGee on Wednesday, 5/30 starting at 9:30am at BCTV (10 Meetinghouse Rd – behind the Town Hall). This is a great opportunity to ask any questions you have about the Bedford School District. Children are always welcome to attend.

BHS GRADUATION SEAT RAFFLE!!! The PTG is raffling off FOUR sets of four seats in the front two center rows of the bleachers. These seats will be reserved just for you. Winners will also receive one reserved parking space on campus! $20/Entry or 6 Entries for $100 Winners will be drawn & announced on June 7th. Simply fill out the number of entries you'd like to make and return with cash or check payable to “Bedford PTG” to BHS school office by JUNE 6th.

BHS PARKING SPACE RAFFLE!!! $10 Donation Per Entry. The PTG is raffling off TWO prime guaranteed parking spaces in the top lot for the 2018-2019 school year. You must have a valid license and a vehicle sometime during the 2018-2019 school year to be eligible to WIN! Simply fill out the number of entries you'd like to make and return with cash or check payable to “Bedford PTG” to BHS school office by June 13th. Winners will be notified before the end of the year.

This recognition and distinction would not be possible without the many citizens, educators, students and volunteers that over the years have built, maintained and enhanced the mission and the values of our school district. We invite you to nominate individuals who exemplify the spirit of our district along with those who have gone above and beyond in making Bedford an extraordinary school district in all aspects. Food Drive
RBS is working with the Bedford Food Pantry to help collect food items that are most needed by families. Every other month we will be collecting 1 food item. For the month of May, that item is INDIVIDUAL MAC N CHEESE CUPS. If you are able, please bring in individual mac n cheese cups until Friday, June 1st. We will have a box for donations in the office hallway outside of the library. Thank you so much for supporting this very worthy cause, which supports Bedford families.

Bedford Police Bike Rodeo
The Bedford Police Department will be hosting their annual Bike Rodeo on Sunday May 27, 2018 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. It will be located in the upper parking lot of the Bedford High School, 47 Nashua Road. This event is free and is open to all ages and abilities. Kids will be given the opportunity to have their helmets checked and ride through obstacle courses. Immediately after the Bike Rodeo those interested may ride their bikes during the Memorial Day parade with members of the Bedford Police Department bicycle unit starting at 1:00 pm. The parade route will start at the Bedford High School and end at McKelvie Intermediate School. Please join the members of the Bedford Police Department for this family fun event.
