Book Drive—BHS
Senior Project
BHS Senior and
former RBS student, Will Zimmerman, will be running a book drive to benefit CLiF
at RBS throughout the month of April for his Senior Project. This drive is
to collect new books for the Children’s Literacy Foundation to be distributed
to low-income, at-risk, and rural children up to age 12 throughout New
Hampshire and Vermont. There will be a collection bin (for books or monetary
donations) in the main floor hallway outside of the office. The upcoming
Scholastic Book Fair will be a perfect opportunity to both purchase and donate
books! Together, we can help ensure a brighter future for the youth of NH and
VT! Thank you for your support!

from around the state will converge on Nashua High School South as the teams compete in
future of work skills including creativity, collaboration and problem-solving
skills in STEAM and service learning Challenges at NH Destination
Imagination State Finals. These teams
advanced through regional tournaments, and over 230 teams statewide. Top
scoring teams in each Challenge and age level will qualify to attend
Destination Imagination Global Finals in May in Kansas City, MO.
Handicap
Parking at RBS
Just a reminder
that the handicap parking spaces in our lot are reserved for those who have a
disability placard or a handicap license plate. These spaces should not be
used for dropping off students in the morning. Parking in those spaces
without the proper permits, for however short a period of time, not only
presents an inconvenience for those who need to park there but is also illegal.

Parent Pick
Up Request
I know it’s
tempting to let your child run over to you as soon as he/she enters the gym,
however, it’s very important that students wait to be called by the duty person
checking them out. For safety and
accountability purposes, we need to be sure that students are leaving with the
appropriate person (noted on the check-out slip). If your child runs over to greet you before
being checked out, please send him/her back.
We appreciate your help with this.
