We had a wonderful All School Meeting today to celebrate Memorial Day.  Thank you to our 2nd grade students and teachers for organizing this special event!

Last Day of School:  Monday, June 10th at 12:20 PM (No After School Program or Bedford Martial Arts).  Imagine Program WILL BE picking up.

BEDFORD PTG COLOR BLAST FUN RUN/WALK SUNDAY JUNE 2nd 9:30AM –
We still need lots of volunteers to make the Color Blast Fun Run a success. Please consider adding some color to your Sunday by joining us for a few hours. Please click HERE to see how you can help. 

Online registration is now closed, but you can still REGISTER DAY OF THE EVENT!
Same day registration will be open on Sunday from 8-9:15am and the cost is $35/adults and $10/age 10 & under.

BHS GRADUATION SEAT RAFFLE - The PTG is raffling off 2 sets of FOUR seats for the June 8th Graduation Ceremony in a prime picture taking spot. Winners will also receive one reserved parking spot that day. $20/Entry or 6 Entries for $100. Click HERE for entry form and details. Entries, with cash or check payable to “Bedford PTG”, are due to BHS school office by JUNE 3rd. Winners will be drawn & announced on June 5th

BHS PARKING SPACE RAFFLE The PTG is raffling off TWO prime guaranteed parking spaces in the top lot for the 2019-2020 school year. You must have a valid license and a vehicle sometime during the 2019-2020 school year to be eligible to WIN! $10 Donation Per Entry. Click HERE  for entry form and details. Entries, with cash or check payable to “Bedford PTG”, are due to BHS school office by June 3rd. Winners will be notified before the end of the year. 

REMINDERS:
Summer Skills Math Books
Summer is almost here!  If you would like to order a Summer Skills Math Sharpener workbook for your child, please click HERE, then click on the “Parent Info.” tab.  You will be able to order the book online and it will be shipped right to your house.

The purpose of these workbooks is to review the math skills taught during the school year.  It is suggested that you order a workbook that is at the same grade level that your child is in now.  

Bedford Early Education Program Registration
BEEP is now accepting registrations for the four year old classes for the 2019-2020 school year!  

Bedford’s Early Education Program is a developmentally appropriate preschool that is respectful of the talents and needs of individual children.  Each class has a certified early childhood educator and a classroom paraprofessional.  Programs for four-year olds meet from 8:10 AM – 10:40 AM five days per week or from 11:40 PM – 2:10 PM four days per week.  Tuition for five days is $2,500 per year or $2,150 per year for four days.  For more information please contact Melissa Gray, Assistant Director of Special Services at 627-1776 ext. 23216 or grayme@sau25.net.  

**While BEEP does offer three-year old classes, the classes are close to capacity.  Please call if you want to be placed on a waiting list.

Food Drive
RBS is working with the Bedford Food Pantry to help collect food items that are most needed by families.  Every other month we will be collecting 1 food item.  For the month of May, that item is INDIVIDUAL MAC N CHEESE CUPS.  If you are able, please bring in individual mac n cheese cups until Friday, May 31st.  We will have a box for donations in the office hallway outside of the library.  Thank you so much for supporting this very worthy cause, which supports Bedford families.

We had another wonderful Grandparents’ Day at RBS this past Tuesday with over 470 visitors!  Please take a look HERE for some pictures from classroom visits.

Grade 2 Full STEAM Ahead Day
Our first grade 2 Full STEAM Ahead was a great success!  The students were thrilled to be able to choose from a variety of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) workshops.  A big thank you to the teachers and organizers of this event.  Our students are very lucky to have these types of opportunities open to them!
