PROCEDURE TO REPORT COVID CASES OR CONTACT TRACES

For reporting purposes during out of school hours:

Please use THIS FORM to report if your child has tested positive for COVID.

Please use THIS FORM to report if your child has been contact traced.

IN THE NEWS:

Reminder from the Health Office Re: Allergy Symptoms

Allergy season is upon us. If your child has seasonal allergies, please get a note from your child’s physician for Mrs. Ouellette to keep on file for this school year.  Please keep in mind that DHHS recommends COVID testing for any new or unexplained symptoms, and our school district follows that recommendation.  I know it may be frustrating, but please understand that Mrs. Ouellette is doing her job.  PLEASE be kind and respectful to her.

RBS Directory

Unfortunately, the RBS Directory did not get done this year.  Also, the person who was working on it has the list of families who ordered them, and I am not able to get in touch with that person.  Therefore, I will need to ask parents to let us know if you ordered a directory, so that we can issue you a reimbursement check.  If you did order a directory this year, please fill out THIS FORM by Friday, June 4th.  Checks will be mailed home by July 1st.  My apologies for this inconvenience.

Writer’s Bee Winners

This spring, our students in 3rd and 4th grade Writer’s Group participated in a world-wide writing competition from Boomwriter, called The Writing Bee.  Congratulations to 4th grader, Zoe Chun, for her win as a National Finalist.  Her final chapter is now the starting point in the overall finals for over 5,000 elementary and middle school students across the globe......way to go!!!

Summer Food Boxes

With the end of the school year right around the corner, the Bedford Community Food Pantry will be providing food boxes to students over the summer, as needed.  These boxes, containing 28 meals and including items such as cereal, mac and cheese, peanut butter, tuna, etc., are available for monthly pick up by parents.  Boxes can be picked up weekdays from 8AM to 2PM at Memorial School, or during the weekly Bedford Community Food Pantry hours from 9AM to 11AM on Saturdays.  Shopping for fresh food and other non-perishables is also available on Saturdays at the Food Pantry, which is located at 4 Church Road in Bedford.  If you have any questions, please contact 603-867-1445.

Enrichment Riddle of the Week

Ms. Babine will post a new riddle each Friday (below) and reveal the answer the following Thursday.  Families are encouraged to think together and come up with as many creative solutions as possible, and can submit responses through the Google Form link included on my website.
