MINDFULNESS AND
STRESS MANAGEMENT SEMINAR:
Tuesday, January 14th, 7:00 p.m. at McKelvie, for parents of
children in Grades K-6. Come learn about the benefits of Mindfulness including
increased focus for learning and stress management for life. Terri Hamilton, a
Mindfulness & Stress Management Coach and former teacher and Guidance
Counselor, will be sharing her expertise.

PRINCIPAL
WINTER READING NIGHT: Dress
in your PJ’s, bring a blanket and come listen to the Bedford principals read
you a story! This fun-filled family event will be held on Thursday,
January 23rd at McKelvie in the Cafeteria. Choose between two
session times, 4:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. Details on how to register for the event
coming soon.

from the Bedford Education Foundation
Do you have a
child that could use a parking spot at Bedford High School? The Bedford
Education Foundation is raffling off your chance to win a front row

REMINDERS:
Holiday Cheer at RBS
We have some fun and festive “Spirit Day” events coming up for RBS
students and staff!
- Wednesday, December 18th:
All School Holiday Pajama
Day. Students and staff may wear
their comfiest and coziest holiday PJ’s. (No stuffed animals or
slippers, please.)
- Friday, December 20th: Festive Sweater Day. Students and staff may wear their most
“festive” sweaters/vests/dresses, etc.
Playground
Just a reminder
that students need boots, snow pants, coats, gloves/mittens, etc. to play on
the playground when we have snow.
Coat Drive
As we have in past
years, Riddle Brook School is sponsoring a Coat Drive. Items collected will be donated to needy
families. The drive runs from Monday, December 9th –
Wednesday, December 18th.
Items to be collected include: clean hats, mittens/gloves, scarves and
coats for men, women, children and infants.
Boxes are located in the library hallway.

Clothing
You
can order Riddle Brook School clothing online! Please go to www.bedfordwear.com. Click on Schools
in the menu bar, and select Riddle Brook School. An order
typically takes 7-10 business days to be delivered. You can order in a
variety of colors and styles. We have a few samples hanging in the office
area so you can get an idea of what is offered. Also, there is a size
chart on the website for your reference. 10% of profits come back to the
school.
