Happy Thanksgiving to all! I hope everyone is able to spend some time over the break with family and friends. Reminder…there is no school tomorrow (Wednesday, November 21^st). We’ll see you on Monday, November 26^th.

Food Drive Information

A big "thank you" to all of our generous families who donated non-perishable food items requested by the Bedford Community Food Pantry for our annual food drive. A special “thank you” goes out to one of our 4^th grade Principal’s Advisory Group members, Pierce Connolly, and his family who held a “satellite drive” at their office (Bedford Dental Care). As a result, this year we collected 549 food/non-perishable items, which is an increase of over 250 from last year’s drive! Our Principal's Advisory Group counted and packed up the food yesterday. It was picked up by the food pantry today...just in time for Thanksgiving and the long Thanksgiving weekend.

Just a reminder that students need boots, snow pants, coats, gloves/mittens, etc. to play on the playground when we have snow.

SKI, SKATE AND MORE THANK YOU - The Bedford PTG would like to send a BIG THANK YOU to all who helped support the PTG and the Bedford School District at our Annual Ski, Skate & More Sale. It was another HIGHLY successful event!

Thank you to the Ski and Skate committee and volunteers for all their time and effort; BHS and RAL for their support and assistance; Consignors and Vendors for all the great merchandise; and our community for coming out and shopping!

COLOR BLAST FUN RUN OPPORTUNITY: It’s not too late to get involved with planning this colorful community event. REMINDERS:

Toys for Tots at RBS

RHYTHMICS kicked off its TOYS FOR TOTS collection during their rehearsal this week. TOYS FOR TOTS is a well-known charity run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. We hope to collect more than 500 toys before our Winter Concert, which is scheduled for December 12^th. Until that day, boys, girls and Riddle Brook community members are asked to deposit new, unwrapped toys in the big boxes located in the halls and in the music room at school. All the toys will be used as decorations on the edge of the stage for the concert! Through our generosity, the holidays will be filled with happiness for boys and girls who need our help!

You can order Riddle Brook School clothing online! Please go to www.bedfordwear.com. Click on Schools in the menu bar, and select Riddle Brook School. An order typically takes 7-10 business days to be delivered. You can order in a variety of colors and styles. We have a few samples hanging in the office area so you can get an idea of what is offered. Also, there is a size chart on the website for your reference. 10% of profits come back to the school.

Hopefully, everyone managed the 1^st snow of the season! The students were certainly excited to play in it at recess today! Just a reminder that students need boots, snow pants, coats, gloves/mittens, etc. to play on the playground when we have snow.

Please note: IF YOU NEED TO PRINT YOUR TAGS ON SITE AT BHS DURING EQUIPMENT DROP OFF THERE WILL BE A $1.00 CHARGE PER TAG.

RBS Clothing

Food Drive – October 22 – November 16

The Bedford Community Food Pantry is a valuable resource for those in our community who are facing hunger or food insecurity. The Food Pantry is a 501(c)3 organization that is a well-coordinated effort between 5 area churches, local organizations, including the Bedford Lion's Club and the Boy Scouts, and individuals and families in Bedford.

They are always in need of THESE FOOD ITEMS. At RBS, we would like to make a concerted effort to collect these items for our food drive. If you are able to make a donation, I know the Food Pantry would GREATLY appreciate it!

*Donations of cash are also welcomed in order to purchase food from the NH Food Bank (checks made out to Bedford Community Food Pantry).

On Tuesday, November 20^ththe boxes will be donated as a contribution from the Riddle Brook School community. Therefore, we will need all donations by Friday, November 16^th. Our Principal’s Advisory Group will be organizing and packing the donations on Monday, November 19^th.
