For reporting purposes during out of school hours:

Please use THIS FORM to report if your child has tested positive for COVID.

Please use THIS FORM to report if your child has been contact traced.

IN THE NEWS:

Report Cards

As a reminder, student report cards are available online only in the PowerSchool Parent Access Portal.   To access your child's report card online, log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal and you will see a Report Cards icon in the left hand pane.  When you click on this icon your child's report card will appear on the screen.  You can scroll to see the entire report card and choose to print it, if you'd like.  If you’d like a printed report card, please print it prior to July 1st, as it will not be available after we do roll over (sometime in July).  Anytime you click on the Report Cards icon, the most recent report card will generate.  Quarter 4 report cards will be available to view on Friday, June 11th at 12:45 PM.

Moving

If you have plans to move after school gets out, please contact our secretary, Patty McMahon (mcmahonp@sau25.net), as soon as possible to let her know.  This information impacts placement for us.  In addition, she will let you know what you need to do in terms of paperwork.  Thank you!

REMINDERS:

Mask Update (Message from Superintendent Fournier)

Effective Monday, June 7th (Schools are in full session and we cannot physically distance)
- Mask wearing will only be required when moving about the classroom or moving between classes.  When students are seated at their desks, at lunch or outdoors, masks will not be required.  Staff will provide students with guidance to avoid confusion. The primary change is that masks will not be required when seated at their desks (3’ apart).

- Students are encouraged to bring water bottles to school and dress in loose fitting clothing to stay cool.

Effective Monday, June 14th (Schools are not full and distancing is possible)
Bedford Mitigation Measures for Summer Programming

- Masks are recommended but not required for staff & students when indoors.

- Programs for students 12 and older will follow pre-pandemic protocols in addition to hand sanitizer and standard cleaning.

- Programs for students 11 and younger will be reduced density in order to accommodate 6' of distance for students who elect not to mask (or use plexiglass).

Note: Until DHHS modifies its contact tracing for positive cases (we have heard this is forthcoming), there are 3 ways in which students and staff can avoid quarantine from contact tracing:

1. Being vaccinated

2. 6 feet of distancing

3. 3 feet of distancing with a mask (or with a barrier)

***Changes from DHHS will result in the BSD updating our protocols.***
