National School Counselor’s Week
Thank you to our two amazing school counselors—Mrs. Reese and Mrs. Kenny (intern)—as we celebrate National School Counselor’s Week.  They were gracious enough to host an Open House today for staff members with lots of fun games, prizes and treats.  Thank you Marty and Martina!

RBS Cabaret Show
Thank you to Mrs. Munz and our 4th grade Rhythmics for an outstanding Cabaret Show last night.  We certainly have some talented singers in our chorus.  Their solos, duets and group numbers were fabulous!

SAVE THE DATE – RBS Math & Literacy Night

Flu Information
RBS is starting to see an increase in student absences due to the flu.  If your child is showing symptoms of the flu, it is important to see a doctor.  If your child is diagnosed with the flu and/or shows symptoms such as a fever, it is important to keep him/her home.  Please remember, when students are sick – fever, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. – they need to be out of school for at least 24 hours after they are symptom-free.  This helps to ensure that they do not spread their illness to other students and staff members.

As a preventative measure, I’ve asked teachers to disinfect classrooms, and custodians to disinfect doorknobs, bathrooms, etc. more regularly.  I’ve also asked teachers to stop using shared supplies, if possible.

Please take a look at THIS LINK from the CDC, which offers parents helpful information regarding the treatment and prevention of the flu.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our school nurse, Michele Ouellette at ouellettem@sau25.net or 471-1082 x25201.

Riddle Brook School Day at the Monarchs – March 11
Please join us for a fun-filled afternoon when our Manchester Monarchs take to the ice against the Norfolk Admirals on Sunday, March 11th.  Our choruses will lead the National Anthem before the 3:00 PM game, and all RBS students will be invited to greet the players in the "High Five Tunnel."  Everyone who joins our reservation group on-line will enjoy special pricing.  Watch for notices and details to be released soon!
