Dear Parents,
A message from our
district’s Food Service Department:
Our produce vendors and main food vendors have informed us that
there is a major shortage in some key produce items, including lettuce.
Unfortunately, this will affect the offering of salads for
the next several weeks. We typically
offer students a romaine Caesar salad every Monday with their pizza,
as well as a daily alternate entree choice of a salad. We are hoping that
by the second week of May this situation will change, but in the meantime, beginning
next week, we will NOT be able to offer these items.
We apologize for any inconvenience this causes students and
families.
