RBS Principal’s Notes
May 19, 2017
IN THE NEWS:
Some parents have inquired as to whether or not we treat our playground for ticks. I want to make sure that parents know that we have not/do not treat our playgrounds. I know this is predicted to be a heavy year for ticks, so if you are concerned, I wanted to refer you to some PREVENTION INFORMATION (suggestions listed on page 2 under Can Lyme Disease Be Prevented?).
Box Tops for Education

Executive Functioning and Hygiene Messages
Remember, good Bosses know how to shift gears and be flexible problem solvers. Shifting can mean looking again at information and thinking about situations in a brand new way. Being flexible means you are able to change your plans when something goes wrong.
Nose blowing, coughing and sneezing spread germs. Always cough or sneeze into a tissue or into your elbow. If you use a tissue, don’t forget to wash your hands afterward. Washing those germs away will keep you and everyone around you happy and healthy.
